I'm going to get personal and talk about my parent's marriage.
They were divorced when I was around 9 years old.
As a kid, of course I didn't know much. But, it still kinda effects me today.
Subconsciously, I'm afraid of commitment and although, I do think of getting married, unless I find someone who makes me feel secure in a marriage, I wouldn't bother.
Marriage, is not a simple thing and if you think it only effects you then you're wrong. People, always take the easy way out and get divorced. It's a blemish, I'm sure you won't want to live with.
If you didn't think your marriage will work then why get married in the first place? Go figure!
Nowadays, marriage as a sanctity institution are gone.
People, don't have the respect for it anymore.
They get married so easily and they divorce easily too.
That's the kind of lifestyle we're living in right now.
Husband and wife sleep around. Their children sleep around without marriage and even have babies outside of marriage. That's why I say, there's no more sanctity in marriage anymore.
It's a vicious cycle and it will go on until people have the respect for the sanctity of marriage anymore.
