There are many who want to know how to stop a divorce and saving the relationship. There are many answers. But, not all of them may apply. People get divorced for many reasons. One of the most common has to do with broken trust.

If the reason that you are in the situation where your spouse is because you have been unfaithful there are things that you should and shouldn't do to help. If there is something that you did that is the problem, don't tell them that you can change or try to talk them into believing it, make the change aka do it instead of just talking about it.

If you feel that you would be, it very well may be that they deserve one as well. Put yourself in their shoes and treat them the way you would want to be treated.

Try to understand why this happened. It very well may be that it can be resolved.
