How To Get Over A Broken Heart - Running Away Is A NO no

How To Get Over A Broken Heart - Running Away Is A NO no

Hey guys,

How to get over a broken heart? Well, definitely the answer is not by running away. It hurts but keeping it all inside and doing nothing about it isn't the answer either.

Having your heart broken is a very painful and difficult experience.  Both men and women can experience the pain of a broken heart when a relationship ends.  It doesn't matter if you are the one who initiated the break up or not, you will still feel some pain and sadness at the end of something that had been wonderful. Some breakups are expected after a relationship has been having troubles for a while, and other breakups can come unexpectedly and these can be the most heart breaking ones.

The worst thing that you can do after a relationship breakup is to sit around feeling sorry for yourself and telling all your friends and family your 'victim story' of how you have had your heart broken.  Stop it! If you continue to long for that lost love that can no longer be, you are headed for trouble.

If you don’t allow yourself to grieve for the relationship and then accept that it is over then you won't be able to move on with your life.  If you don't get over your ex then any future relationships are doomed before they even start.

You can't run away from your heartache either, if you run it will just follow you. You need to face life head on and a break up is a life experience like any other that must be dealt with.

You can't stop a broken heart by running away from it or suppressing it with alcohol or other substances.  Your grieving heart cannot heal unless you work your way through it.  You need to accept that you will feel sadness and pain during this time and that is a natural response to a busted relationship. Use the pain and sadness that you feel to learn and grow from the experience.

There are no quick fix solutions to a broken heart but getting your feelings and thoughts out in the open can help. You can do this by talking to a friend, a counselor or even writing your feelings and thoughts in a diary.  Talking about your feelings is part of the process of getting over a break up.

You can use this relationship experience to learn from and avoid making the same mistakes in a future relationship.  Of course this will depend on what mistakes, if any, that you made and what the reason was for the relationship ending. Sometimes relationships just run their course and people fall out love.

If you did make any mistakes in the relationship then don’t act as though you didn't and don’t act like you are the victim.  Take responsibility for any mistakes that you did make and move on and learn from them.  There is a good chance that you both made some mistakes along the way and there is no point playing the blame game.

If you don't handle your break up responsibly, then you may continue to hold the pain in your heart and never completely get over it.  If you don't get over your relationship or your ex then you can never have a completely happy and fulfilled relationship with someone else.

If you handle your breakup responsibly with the goal of working through your feelings and letting them go, then you can heal your broken heart and move on with your life.

Healing a broken heart takes time and takes work.  It is difficult to lose someone who has been such a major part of your life, but you will get over it and you will become a stronger person because of it.

These are some of the tips you can use on how to get over a broken heart. If you would like to read more on relationships, I recommend that you download the book, "Magic of Making Up" by T.W. Jackson.

4 Simple Ways Of Easing The Pain Of A Breakup - Broken Relationship

4 Simple Ways Of Easing The Pain Of A Breakup - Broken Relationship

Hey guys,

"There are plenty of fish in the sea."

Why does it seem that everybody feels the need to share that old saying with you after you have ended a relationship? I know it's their way of easing the pain of a breakup and while it may be true, it never has the desired effect. The good news is that there are some things you can do to start feeling better and move on with your life.

Let's face the facts. After a split, feelings get hurt, tears flow, anger surges and the thought of ever loving again seems like a remote possibility. I mention this because it's important to know that the ebb and flow of feelings after breaking up are normal. Are you experiencing this right now?

Apart from time, the only thing that will heal the hurt is accepting things for what they are. Once you can do this, easing the pain of a breakup becomes nearly automatic. However, it may take a while before you get to that stage. Here are a few things you can do to feel better in the meantime.

Get out: Hiding yourself away is detrimental to the healing process. Go ahead and take a little time to be alone, but don't overdo it. Get out of the house as soon as you can and re-discover the things life has to offer. In the beginning it's a good idea to avoid the old haunts you used to frequent with your ex. Other than that, have a ball!

Stay busy: While you shouldn't try to completely ignore what you are going through, it's also not a good idea to dwell on it. Participate in positive or productive activities to give your heart and mind a rest. Clean the house, play games, go to the gym, or anything else that requires movement and some level of thought.

Laugh: It may seem impossible, you may even feel guilty about it, but go ahead and laugh. It is believed that laughter releases certain "feel good" chemicals in the brain. The more you laugh, the better you will feel. Easing the pain of a breakup is never a simple thing to do, but if you can smile and laugh you are well on the way to better days.

Seek help: What if everything you do to feel better just doesn't seem to work? When this happens get help from a qualified therapist, counselor or psychiatrist. They are there to help. More importantly, they are trained to do one thing better than the average person. What is that thing? Listening. Sometimes having a non-judgmental ear is all you need to start moving on.

Nobody likes to part ways with someone that's close to them. Even if you knew things were getting worse for quite some time, the actual split can be difficult to handle. There is nothing wrong with feeling down, but only to a certain degree. At some point you have to be proactive in easing the pain of a breakup. Using the simple ways mentioned above will get you feeling better much sooner.

If you want to read and learn more on broken relationship, then I suggest you download and read through "Magic of Making Up" by T.W. Jackson. His book have help many couples around the world with their broken relationships.

Why Should I Bother To Get Back At My Ex?

Why Should I Bother To Get Back At My Ex?

Hey guys,

A lot of people, women in particular it has to be said, appear to spend hours thinking of ways to answer the question of how to get back at your ex?  My view on this is why bother?  The only person you will end up hurting is yourself.  Anger and regret are negative emotions and do not have any long term value to add to your life. Some things are just not worth it!

Couples split up for all sorts of reasons but I firmly believe that it takes two to tango.  Yes, he may have had an affair or she may have a drink problem but at the end of the day it is usually too simple to lay the blame for the break up at one person's feet.

But when a relationship ends it should be final unless both of you decide that you wish to get back together.  Otherwise, move on. Don't waste your time or energy trying to think of ways to destroy his life or pick fights with her new man. You are better then that.

Every man or woman over the age of 21 has been dumped at some point in their lives.  If they say they haven’t, they are probably lying.  Breaking up can be extremely painful - you only have to see how many films and songs are written on the subject.  Even classic books involve painful relationships - have you read Jane Eyre lately?

Relationships of all types make the world go round and it would be a very boring place if we were happy all of the time.  Stories such as Cinderella and sleeping Beauty end when the couple kiss and we all believe they will live happily ever after.  Cinders and Beauty have found their Mr Right, but what they don't know is that his first name is always!

Life is too short to live it out with a grudge against someone else.  The only person that will suffer will be you and those that love you.  Your ex will be long gone - do you really think that they give you more than a fleeting thought.  They didn't care enough about you to stay together so why would they care now?

There are plenty of lovely people for you to date and perhaps fall in love with. But you will never find a fulfilling new relationship if your life is consumed by hatred for someone else.  Being on your own for the first time in a long time can be tough but it can also be liberating. Think positively - you now have the chance to do all the things you wanted to do but your partner wasn’t interested in.

Make a list of twenty things you have to be thankful for and read this every night before you fall asleep.  Add five things to your list every day and you will soon find yourself enjoying life so much that you won’t have time to worry about how to get back at your ex. It will be more like ex who?

That's also how you will be able to heal your broken heart. Is to move on, concentrate on doing your own things. If it meant for you to find a new better partner to be with then you'll be ready by then.

If you want to read more about dating, relationship and even how to keep your marriage happy then I recommend that you download and read through "Magic of Making Up" by T.W. Jackson. Surviving A Breakup - Difficult But Yes Doable

Surviving A Breakup-Difficult But Doable

Hey guys,

A breakup is a difficult thing to deal with, and it is hard on you and your ex. There are a great number of hurt emotions and feelings, and the act of surviving a breakup will involve a great deal of personal strength. This task may seem daunting, especially with a big void in your chest.

You cannot easily fill that void with anything, it is that painful and difficult to handle. What you should consider, however, is that you are not the first couple to break up and you will not be the last. You should take solace in that, you and your partner will survive and will be moving forward together.

When you are faced with the task of trying to surviving a breakup, there are a number of tips which will lead you towards surviving the breakup.

Do Not Bottle Up The Pain

The first step is to not bottle up the pain. One cannot go through life without pain. Breaking up with a loved one is emotionally the same as the death of one. You should know that you will be hurt and that it is okay to break down a little and cry as needed. You should write down stuff, you should scream, you should do whatever is needed to let all of the pain out and move on.

Evaluate Your Relationship

Once you have reached a clear and calm state, you are now ready to evaluate things and try and find out where you and your partner are in the relationship. Knowing where you are will allow you and yours to make the right decision. More times than not, you will find that the relationship is truly over. This is something that you and your ex partner needs to come to terms with. Once you are at terms with things, you take the next step.

Get Them Out Of Your System

When you have come to the decision not to let the relationship continue, you and your ex needs to remove the overlaps in your lives. Get them out of the system. This includes property that you two have exchanged and are left at the other's home. This sort of negotiation and separation is to ensure that nothing is left as an emotional landmine later on in your lives.

Finalizing Ritual

Once the two of you have completely separated, then what you should do is to perform a finalizing ritual. This is a symbolic event which will involve letting an effigy of your ex go, via destroying it or some other task. You could burn one of their letters, their photo, throw away their leftovers, and delete their files off your computer and so on. This symbolic gesture is for your benefit and not hate!

Get Emotional Support

At this point, you should use whatever support that is available to you. This can be friends, family, and other loved ones that can provide an emotional support net for you. Even though you have done what you can to soften the blow of the break up, you will still face turbulence. As a result you will need all of the help you can get as you are surviving a breakup.

These are some of the things you can do in surviving a breakup. It might be hard but every little step you take will help you heal the wound. I recommend that you download and read Magic of Making Up by T.W. Jackson for more in-depth help. He has helped thousands of people in 77+ countries resolved their relationship problems. Getting Over Break Up - Steps of Recovery Heal From Breakup

Getting Over Break Up - Steps of Recovery Heal From Breakup

Hey guys,

Are you getting over break up right now? Trying to get over a broken relationship? Do you hurt so bad that you feel like your heart is going to explode? Do you want to see the other person one minute and want to kill them the next?

For one thing, you're not alone. That is all par for the course when you are getting over break up.

Steps to Getting Over Breakup

Just as there are stages of grief when mourning someone who has died, there are also steps that must be taken when getting over break up. One woman, whose first husband died and second husband divorced her said that it was actually easier getting over the death of a husband than it was recovering from divorce.

That is because there’s societal support when someone dies, but you are supposed to go about getting over break up on your own.

Here's some steps you can take to getting over your breakup. It might not be easy but if you want to get over your ex then these are the things you can do.

Write A Long Letter To Ex

The first thing you should do is sit down and write a long letter to your ex. Pour out your heart. Share the experiences you had together. Tell him or her why you loved them. Put on paper how you feel about the break up. Call them names.

It’s okay to emote in this letter because no one is ever going to see it. That is because you are going to light a candle and burn the letter over the candle’s flame. There are not many rituals that go along with breaking up, but this one can help you on the road to emotional recovery.

Exchange Stuff With Ex

Next, you need to arrange to exchange stuff. If you have been in a relationship of any length, you probably have some stuff of his at your place and he’s got your things at his. You probably want much of this stuff back and he or she is equally eager to get theirs. Work out a time for a mutual exchange.

If there are things of your ex’s that aren’t going to be exchanged, either box them up or throw them away. Don’t leave your ex’s toothbrush lying around the bathroom because it will only remind you of them as you are trying to go about getting over break up.

It is also a good idea to box up any gifts your ex gave you for a time. Wearing a watch that your ex gave you will make you think of them every time you check to see what time it is. That’s just not a good idea when getting over break up.

Pay Debt Owed To Ex

There are sometimes financial matters that need to be straightened out when getting over a break up. If you owe your ex money, try to either pay it off from your own funds or get another loan to pay it off. If you have a checking account together, work out how you are going to divvy it up and then go to the bank to close it.

Closing Out With Ex

What you should be seeing is a pattern of closing out the parts of your lives that you shared. This is essential to getting over break up. After you have done what is necessary, agree to have no contact for thirty days.

This will allow you to start building separate lives. You shouldn’t call, text, email, or meet the other person during this time. You may even want to agree that some places such as a specific bar or even a given church “belong” to one party or the other during this month long period.

After you have had time to begin building a separate life, you will be able to interact more normally once again. This is a difficult time, so give yourself the space you need in order to go about getting over break up.

Time do heal a broken heart. I recommend you download and read the book Magic of Making Up authored by T.W. 'Dub' Jackson for more tips on getting over break up:

He Dumped Me - How Will I Ever Survive After A Broken Relationship

He Dumped Me - How Will I Ever Survive After A Broken Relationship

Hello ladies,

If you are saying "he dumped me. How will I ever survive after a broken relationship?" mere words in an article will not give you comfort. It may help to know that while you’ve broken up, you are not a broken person.

What is the best way to heal a broken heart?

When you’ve been in the position that "he dumped me," you have two fears. The first is that you will never recover from the pain. The second is that no one will ever love you again (that is further then the truth).

Take heart, dear. The fear is real. The pain is real. But, the situation exists in your head, not in the real world. While one part of your life may be over, it's not the end of the world, your life is not over. How many times have we heard of individuals going to the extremes and even contemplating suicide?

For every problem, there's always a solution. You still have friends and family who care about you. In fact, you now have more time to spend with them. Many times, when you get into an involved romantic relationship, we lose touch with the other people who bring meaning to your life. You now have a chance to reconnect with them (again).

In fact, sharing your loss with them may encourage them to share their break up experiences with you. When you say, "he dumped me," that allows them to be vulnerable about how they've been hurt. You will begin to see that your pain is not unique. You will also be able to see that other people have lived full and complete lives after a break up. In some instances, they get better partner in life.

In addition to having more time for others who you care about, you will have more time to work on the issues in your life. Many times, when you are in a relationship, the activities you care about get pushed aside if your boyfriend isn't interested in them. This is a good time to get re-involved in the things that matter to you.

If no particular activity comes to mind, then maybe you need to get a hobby!

No, really, when you say "he dumped me," what you tell yourself is that you are worthless. When you take up a new activity and invest in yourself, you prove to yourself that you matter.

There are all kinds of activities you can get involved with. The best thing to do is to join a group, class, or workshop. For instance, joining a hiking club will let you meet lots of people who enjoy the great outdoors. A ballroom dancing class will introduce you to people who enjoy the finer things in life. A writer’s workshop will be filled with creative types.

As you begin to re-engage with the world, you will lose the sense of desperation you felt when he dumped you. You will make new friends who share a common interest. You may even meet someone better and special to spend your time with.

The truth is that you will find someone to date again. Your soul mate is out there. Your ex may have done you a favor by breaking up with you because now you have a chance to find someone who fits you better. And, always remember, the best revenge when "he dumped me" is moving on!

These are some of the tips you can use to survive after a heart wrenching broken relationship. Take it slow and know that breaking up is just part and parcel of life. It's a time to start afresh and move forward.

I suggest you read Magic of Making Up to learn more on relationships authored by T.W.Jackson. He has helped thousand others via his book and in it contains wealth of information that would be particular to you.

How to Get Over Guy - 5 Steps for Moving On After A Broken Relationship

How to Get Over Guy - 5 Steps for Moving On After A Broken Relationship

Hello ladies,

How to get over someone you love?

Are you having trouble get over the guy? Whether he dumped you or you broke up with him, letting go of someone who you had a close relationship is very difficult. There is a space in your heart as well as a space in your life that are not quickly filled with anything or anyone else. Yet, people do get over a relationship.

Here are five steps to get over guy you still like.

STEP 1: Let out the hurt

First, you need to let out the hurt. Know that it is okay to cry when you are trying to get over the guy. Some people keep a journal of their experiences because writing about the pain helps.

One thing that I have seen some people do that is very effective is to write a long letter about the relationship to their ex boyfriend. Talk about the good times and bad. Talk about the relationship and how he hurt you. Let it all out. When you have finished the letter, burn it.

That’s right. Don't even think about sending it to your ex. Instead, let flames consume the letter. That provides excellent closure to the relationship.

STEP 2: Decide the Relationship is Over

Next, you have to decide that the relationship is really over. If you hold on to the thought that he will change and come back to you, you will never get over this guy and move on.

Do something that symbolizes the finality of the end of the relationship. A good example of this is to exchange all of the personal property that you have of the others. Don't even keep the over sized t-shirt of his that is so comfortable for sleeping in. And, if there are things too minor to exchange (like a toothbrush), throw them away. Clear your place of all of his things. It is a way of clearing him from your life.

STEP 3: Girlfriends are Forever

You need to depend on your friends through this time. Until you meet your husband, guys will come and go, but your girlfriends are forever.

If you have been in a hot and heavy relationship, you may have inadvertently ignored your friends for a time. Not only will your girls help you get over guy, but reconnecting will be good for your social life. Also, your girlfriends will have had similar experiences to your break up. Sharing their pain will help you understand that, however bad the hurt you are experiencing, others have survived and you will too.

STEP 4: Use Time Productively

You will probably have extra time on your hands now that you have broken up. You used to spend a lot of time with your ex. Use this time productively to get over guy. Go to the gym and get your body in shape. Take up a new hobby.

One of the best things you can do during this period is to join a group or a class. Not only does a class take up the time you would have spent with your ex, but it also introduces you to a new circle of friends.

STEP 5: Move on

And, that brings me to my last point, when you want to get over guy, the best thing you can do is move on. Between your old friends, the new friends you make in your class or hobby, and the activities you do to fill up your time, you will emerge as a new person.

Moving on is the best way to get over guy.

These are the 5 steps you can take for getting over someone you love and moving on after a broken relationship.

I recommend you download Magic of Making Up to learn more what you can do to get over guy you love. Maybe, use the knowledge inside it to improve on your future relationships.

How To Get Over Someone You Love - Healing After a Breakup

How To Get Over Someone You Love - Healing After a Breakup

Hello guys,

Does breakup hurts? Well, it damn sure does.

The breakup of a relationship is an emotional loss much like death; it can leave you feeling empty and not knowing what to do next.

Committed relationships are complex and often change over time. These changes in our thoughts and desires can have a direct effect on the relationship for the better or for the worse.

When you start to realize that your goals and dreams differ drastically from your partner's, you start to ask yourself if the relationship will stand the test of time. The fact is, probably not, if your wishes for the future are dramatically different.

Recognizing the real reason for the distance between you will help in healing after a breakup.

If you can assume that there is nothing wrong with you, and you have simply grown apart then you can start the healing process.

The negative self-image that comes with the end of a relationship is more often than not the real reason for you to feel bad when your relationship ended.

If you can't get past a breakup and you find yourself still thinking about and wanting your former partner, then you might need some additional help from a professional.

Most of the time, if your grief for your lost relationship continues beyond what most would consider a healthy time span, you might have some deeper emotional issues that have to be dealt with and a professional can help you figure that out.

If you have other stressors in your life you might need some additional assistance to move past it.

Healing takes time and it's always hard to get over someone you love. If you feel at a lost and not sure how to get over someone you love then you might want to take a look at this healing after a breakup course from someone that had the same bad experience before.

How to Heal After a Breakup - 2 Best Way to Heal A Broken Heart

How to Heal After a Breakup - Best Way to Heal A Broken Heart

Hey guys,

Healing after breakup - It's not something you can do at the snap of a finger.

There are some things that simply must happen in order for you to really heal and move forward with your life. If you are interested in the construction of new love relationships or just want to feel you again, do these 2 important steps as a start.

1)Grieve.

There are five stages of grief. They are: anger, bargaining, denial, depression, and acceptance.
You can experience them in any order, some or all of them. You do need to go through your own grieving process though before you attempt any other relationships to take the place of this one or to experience any kind of lasting healing for yourself.

This is a two part process. When your relationship ended you probably replayed every moment and relived every mistake you made along the way.

2)Accept.

You cannot really move forward and experience real healing until you've accepted that the relationship has ended. Accept all the things that have happened between the two of you and acknowledge and agree that the relationship as it was, is over.

Once you do this you will be able to begin your own healing process and move forward.

Healing do takes time and you need to 're-boot' and re-start afresh again to really move on.

There's a whole new world out there waiting for you to discover. No point in you mopping around feeling sorry for yourself when you can be out there looking for new experience and adventure.

Yes, it could be hard. I would have known since I've experience breakup myself. But, moving forward is the only thing you can do right now. Take a deep breath and one small step at a time.

Healing after breakup - Feel Like You Just Got hit by a bus?

Healing after breakup - Feel Like You Just Got hit by a bus?

Hey guys,

Normally after a fracture, healing is never easy.

Sometimes the end of a relationship hits you like a bus. You never see it coming. Other times the warning signs are clear as day, but you never seem to see them until it's too late.

Regardless, you still have time to begin the healing process and get back your ex - if you choose to do so.

First step to healing after breakup.

Don't keep hanging on to something that's dangling by a thread. Cut the thread and start with a new one. Otherwise, your relationship will continue to teeter on the edge of destruction. Just accept the end of the relationship and give your ex space and time away from you.

Break off contact for a while. No Text. No phone calls. No e-mail. No midnight drives over to their apartment (absolutely no stalking!). In fact, just enjoy the free time you've got with yourself now and get out of their life so they know what it means to lose you. Give them the 'gift' of missing you!

Next, no matter how hurt you are, don't seek revenge. It will always comes back to bite you in the ass!

Obvious revenge is taking a set of car keys and scratching the side of your ex's car or slicing their tires. A more subtle kind of revenge says mean things about them to get them down, or talking to others about them behind their backs. (Note: I'm not giving you tips you can exact revenge here. LoL!)

It could be hard to control your emotion after a breakup. I know. Once, I post on a chat room how I was going to go after another girl just to try make my ex-gf jealous. She actually ask about it after we get back together.

Don't stoop to such a low level on either account unless you have no intention of ever getting back together. Relax and do something fun. There's no strings attached for the time being so do something you love that you never got to do when you were in the relationship.

Just because you're heartbroken, does not mean you let your mind turns to depression.

Being sad and lonely won't help bring your ex back, so why feel miserable? Now is your chance to call your own shots and do whatever you want to do. Take advantage of that. Besides, your ex would have wants to fall back in love with the happy, fun you, not the miserable, depressed, angry you.

Finally, take responsibility.

Don't focus on all the things your partner did wrong in the relationship. Instead, find the things you could do better and strive to become a better person. Don't point fingers. Don't blame your ex.

When you take responsibility and take the lead in figuring out what went wrong and work on improving yourself, then your ex will follow. Remember, after a fracture, healing involves stay positive and realize no one will ever be perfect, but you can always try to be perfect. A breakup doesn't have to be the end of the world.
