Learn 5 Tips On Getting Over Your First Love

Learn 5 Tips On Getting Over Your First Love

Hey guys,

For most of us, getting over your first love can seem impossible.  It's hard to believe that we can ever really be happy again or that we will ever find someone who 'gets' us the same way our love did.  The truth is, no matter how hard it is to believe right now,  that as humans we are capable of loving many people.  We can love very deeply and while we won't love each person in exactly the same way, we can have more than one 'true love' in our lifetimes.  The most important thing you need to do is get yourself in a position where you will be able to love again, and that will take some time.

So many time we've have met and heard people saying they'll never fall in love again or that they'll never find anyone better to take over their boyfriends or girlfriends. But, in the end they did and some even gotten married. So, it's really just rubbish talk at the moment of breakups.

Anyway, here are the 5 best steps for making a clean break so that you can move on and find love at some point:

1. Face The Fact

You have to face the fact that your relationship is over. This is unbelievably hard to do.  You thought the two of you would be together forever and you can't imagine that it could really be over.  You have to face the fact that it is over and cut off all communication with your ex.

2. Don't Hide Away

Do not allow yourself to hide away.  A few days, or weeks, of wallowing and hiding out is ok, but after that it's time for you to rejoin the world.  That's not to say that you should start dating, you probably shouldn't at this point, but you can start spending time with family and friends and not just moping around in your bathrobe for days on end.

3. Enjoy Your New Found Freedom

Do those things that you weren't able to do when the two of you were together.  In all relationships there are things that one person doesn't want to do and more often than not the person who does like to do it doesn't get the chance. Now is the time to revisit those things that you've put on hold.  Remember the activities and places that once brought you joy and let them bring you joy again.

4. Re-evaluate

Take this time to re-evaluate who you are and what you want.  Make yourself the best 'you' you can be.  Lose weight, take a class, find a new job, paint your house, it doesn't matter what it is as long as it will have a positive impact on your life.  These types of activities will make you feel a little more in control and will help you grow as a person.  They can also give you something to distract yourself from the pain you are feeling, at least for a short time.

5. Give Yourself Time

This is the hardest one... give yourself time.  Whether you believe it or not at this point, some day the pain will fade and just be a memory and when that day comes you will be ready to love again.  You have to give yourself the time you need to mourn your lost love and regain your strength. Don't let others tell you when you should be over it, you will get over it at your pace.  However, if you don't seem to be moving forward even a little after several months you may need to have a counselor help you through the grieving process.

Getting over your first love will seem like an impossible task.  After all, this is the first time you've ever felt like this and it's easy to believe that you could never possible feel this way again, but you can, and if you give yourself time you will.

Getting Over Unrequited Love - Things I Learned from Women Who Dumped Me

Getting Over Unrequited Love - Things I Learned from Women Who Dumped Me

Hey guys,

Okay, I’ll admit, I’ve been dumped.  More than once.  More than I’d like to admit, actually.  And, while it hurt quite a bit each time, I have to say that I have grown from the experiences.  So, here are some things I've learned from women who've dumped me.

Things I’ve Learned from Women Who've Dumped Me

#1: It takes two.

Often with the pain and heartbreak of a break up, it is easy to blame the other person for your misery.  But the truth is that if the relationship was no longer working, you were part of the problem.  Evaluate what went on so that you can apply the lessons to your next relationship.

Things I’ve Learned from Women Who've Dumped Me

#2: Give women their personal space.

Women like to cuddle and snuggle.  They may seem to always be around.  But they need their personal space
too.  Men have a tendency to be possessive (I've got into trouble for being too friendly with some guys gf even though I was just joking around - idiots).

We want to keep tabs on where they’re going and what they’re doing there.  If any woman has ever cheated on you, this instinct becomes stronger.  But, trust is a key component in a relationship. When you invade her personal space, you send the message that you don’t trust your girlfriend. This can easily lead to the end of the relationship.

Things I’ve Learned from Women Who've Dumped Me

#3: You get stronger over time.

When you wake up in the morning and the hurt’s so real, you may believe that you will never get over the break up.  But the truth is that not only does time heal all pain, but you will emerge from the break up a stronger person.  As philosopher Frederick Nietzsche said, “that which doesn't kill me only makes me stronger.”

Things I've Learned from Women Who've Dumped Me

#4: It’s okay if it wasn’t meant to be.

Coming to accept that a relationship wasn't meant to be is a key factor in healing.  If you had started projecting your relationship into the future – considering marriage, thinking about children – and then the woman you were with broke everything off, consider it a blessing.  It is better to end a relationship that wasn't meant to be earlier rather than later.

I've known couples who got divorced within 6 months of getting married. Believe me, You don't want to be in that mess!

Things I’ve Learned from Women Who've Dumped Me

#5: Good things don’t happen unless you make them happen.

Finally, the last lesson I want to share with you is that you can’t control what happened, but you can control to how you react to what happened.  If you want good things to happen in the future, you have to make them
happen. That means getting back on the horse. Go out, meet new women.  Have some fun.  Eventually, you will find another relationship.

And, if you have followed the advice in this article about things I've learned from women who've dumped me, the relationship will be even better and stronger than the last one.

Magic of Making Up tips on Heartbroken Poem To Help You Heal

Magic of Making Up tips on Heartbroken Poem To Help You Heal

Hey guys,

If you’ve ever been through a sad break-up with someone you’ve love, you may have written a heartbroken poem (yeah, me too). You may have even written such a poem for things like the loss of a pet or a family member, sadness at moving away from your friends, or any number of sad life events. But it seems nothing inspires such sad poetry as a break-up or divorce. Just as few things inspire love poetry quite like being in a happy, loving relationship.

Poetry is an excellent medium for self-expression. Unless you’re writing poetry with the hope of having it published one day, you can write poetry however you like. It doesn’t have to be good poetry. You don’t have to understand any of the poetic terms or conventions like rhyme, meter or free verse. You don’t even have to have ever read a really good poem in your life to write a heartbroken poem that can help you feel better and maybe help you heal from the pain of a break-up.

An important early step in getting over a break-up or any sad situation is simply facing the pain. While it might feel better to avoid dealing with the reality of the situation, you can’t really move past it without facing it and feeling the pain, at least for a while. So facing up to whatever painful situation is happening is necessary. A heartbroken poem can help you deal with those painful feelings when you’ve split with someone you love.

Don’t worry about whether it’s good or not. No one else ever has to read your heartbroken poem. It’s for you and you alone. Just write down your feelings, as hard as that may be. You can write in plain language. Don’t try to imitate the poets of the 17th and 18th century. Write like you talk, and break the lines where it feels natural to you. In fact, you can start by writing one huge paragraph filled with all your feelings and everything you want to express, just to get it out. Then you can go back and arrange your thoughts and feelings into a poem.

Once you’ve written a heartbroken poem, you might want to write more about different parts of the pain. That’s good. Get down everything you can, and that will help you to face the pain. Writing the poetry will probably be a very emotional time for you. Don’t try to stop it. Just let the pain out and you’ll be better able to move on.

If you decide you want to share your heartbroken poem, you can show family or friends. Or if you want to share it but not with anyone you know, you can put it online. There are websites designed just for such things. You can upload your poetry for free and let other people know if you want to receive criticism or not. You might opt to not receive comments on your heartbroken poem and just enjoy the fact that you’ve shared your experience.

Personally, I've written poems, write songs on guitar about my feelings and posted online (on YouTube) . I guess, I'm just letting it all out of the system.

Getting Over Unrequited Love - Get Over it for Guys!

Getting Over Unrequited Love - Get Over it for Guys!

Hey guys,

Still on getting over unrequited love? Get over it!

They're gone. Zip, none.. and who cares!

Want to know how do you get over someone?

Here's some tips for getting over someone you love and your chance in getting over unrequited love and actually find someone better. Improve on your flirting techniques and get any girls you want. Okay, it might take time if you really love her but if she had move on then you should too.

I'm not telling you to immediately go out there flirting and dating other girls after a breakup but this might be the time for you to just relax and mixed around. Have fun. Give your ex some space and let her think things through. If you improved your skill on flirting, it could actually help you get her back!

Are you a good flirter? Do you flirt well with women? If not, then this article will help you to improve your flirting skills and will help to develop your confidence with women.

We all have to learn new things in life and flirting is one of them. To have success with women, you kind of have to be a good flirter, as flirting precedes successful dating.

Here's one of the key to Flirting: Have fun

Flirting is supposed to be fun. If you make a beautiful woman smile (laugh), does that not make you happy? It makes me happy when a woman does it to me, so more than likely it will make you happy too. If you don't end up getting her phone number, then so what? You have fun with her and now it's time to move on.

Here's the next flirting advice I can give you. If you do this and feel that you look stupid doing this to yourself in the mirror, then your date will feel that way also. You should know that when it comes to dating, you can create your own success.

When you look at yourself in the mirror, you should be proud of what you see. If you don't feel this way about yourself, then it's time to change that perception.

This is a key point that I am making, because what you look like when saying your flirting lines can have a big impact on how a woman responds to you. Practicing in the mirror will do you good. You have to believe in yourself to do it, and must be believable to have success.

So, go out there and have fun. Stop thinking of getting over unrequited love. Who knows, the girl will like the new you!
