Want The Remedy For A Broken Heart?

Want The Remedy For A Broken Heart?

Hey guys,

Unless you have been lucky, you have probably been badly hurt when a relationship ended. So, just what is the remedy for a broken heart?

Can Your Relationship Be Salvaged?

Your first step is to see if your relationship can be salvaged. Sometimes in the heat of the situation we can do things we later regret. Perhaps you dumped your other half but now think you were too hasty. Why not see will he or she take you back? It is worth apologising and asking for another chance if you feel this person is your significant other.

It may be that you both said things that you regret later. Often couples can come under severe stress due to financial worries, concerns over children, health and not to mention job related stress. Consequently resulting in unfair treatment to one another, which then leads to the possible breakup. Evaluate if this is one of the primary problems and then determine if your relationship is worth saving. If it is you can go to counselling for unbiased help and advice. It is worth a shot as getting back together with your loved one is a very good remedy for a broken heart.

Give Yourself Time To Grieve

Sometimes though a relationship ends and it is final.  Yes, you will feel like you could never be happy again but with time your feelings will change. Treat the period after a difficult breakup exactly like you would if that person had died. Allow yourself time to grieve for what you have lost; but then acknowledge it is time to move on.

Look After Yourself

You need to look after yourself. Why not take that holiday you always wanted or go visit some family and friends. Make changes to your daily routine. Your life will be different now so instead of approaching it with fear, grab this opportunity with both hands. Who knows, something or someone better may just be around that next corner.

I do not believe that we only have one soul mate in life. Sure partners who meet when they are teenagers and are still together in their eighties are great. But there are other twosomes out there who may have made mistakes in their respective pasts, but have now found happiness again. Truth be told I've met people who kept saying they can't find new partners or don't believe they will find one but later on they did.

We change as people as we travel through the journey of life. Sometimes our significant other changes as well and as a couple we adapt and stick together. Often though, we find we want different things and while you may be heartbroken at first, you may ultimately be happier with someone else or even on your own.

Find Somebody To Talk To

If you find that your heartbreak is overwhelming, please speak to someone.  There are plenty of counsellors and charities that help those who are suffering from a broken heart. Consider helping others as well.  When we go and visit sick people in hospital, help out at a children’s school or visit elderly neighbours, we often forget about our own problems.

It is very easy to wallow in feelings of sadness, but that will only breed despair. Life is too short to be miserable.  You have complete control over your feelings. So get out there and find yourself the best remedy for a broken heart.

Tips to Getting Over Breakup When Your Heart is Broken

Tips to Getting Over Break Up When Your Heart Is Broken

Hey guys,

Few things are more painful than having your heart broken.

Both men and women experience the pain of breaking up.  Sometimes you are the one who called it off and other times your ex did, but in either case, there is pain on both sides.  And, sometimes the break up happened for good reasons while other times it seemed to go up in a puff of smoke for no reason at all.  These can be the most painful of all.

If you don’t go about getting over the break up though, there can be some serious consequences.  Don’t fall into the trap of lingering over a lost love.  The worst trap of all is to start to write a “victim story” that makes you the protagonist in a tale of love gone bad.

First of all, you should realize that if you don’t get over your ex, it will be toxic to any future relationship you might have.

Second, realize that you can’t run away from it, medicate it, or suppress it.  You have to face the pain head on and deal with it. Life isn't a walk in the park anyway. Face the fact and move on. That's all you can do right now.

There’s no way out of a broken heart.  There’s only a way through.  Accept that there is going to be pain.  Use the time during this period to understand the hurt.  Some ways to do this are to write in a journal, get counseling, or pour your heart out in song.  Realize there are no quick solutions to getting over break up.

Next, you need to examine whether there is anything in your past that would have lead to this break up.  For instance, did the abuse in your childhood cause you to be an abuser in this relationship?  Take note of those things because they will help you foster healthier relationships in the future.

Don’t paint yourself as the victim of the relationship either.  Take responsibility for your actions.  While your ex may have been the one whose “fault” was the immediate cause of the break up, the truth is that the underlying circumstances were caused by both of you.

By getting rid of your “victim story” you become a healthier, more attractive partner for a future boyfriend or girlfriend.  You’ll begin to see that your “victim story” was composed of beliefs, attitudes and thoughts that color your perceptions about everything.  It becomes a self fulfilling prophesy.

When you handle your broken heart badly, you perpetuate your pain.  You’ll never go about getting over break up.

But, when you can handle your emotions with the ultimate goal of letting them go, you enable healing.

Getting over a broken heart takes work.  It also takes time.  Don’t underestimate the factors which go into curing your heartbreak.

You’ve just lost a person who was extremely important to your life.  But, use this time for growth and you will become a stronger person and have better relationships in the future.  That is how you really go about getting over break up.

There's only so much you can do and take in life. Get through the phase quickly and move on. Forward is the only way best for you and your future new partner. It's not always cloudy and rainy. The sun will rise and shine and a new day dawn!

He Dumped Me - How Will I Ever Survive After A Broken Relationship

He Dumped Me - How Will I Ever Survive After A Broken Relationship

Hello ladies,

If you are saying "he dumped me. How will I ever survive after a broken relationship?" mere words in an article will not give you comfort. It may help to know that while you’ve broken up, you are not a broken person.

What is the best way to heal a broken heart?

When you’ve been in the position that "he dumped me," you have two fears. The first is that you will never recover from the pain. The second is that no one will ever love you again (that is further then the truth).

Take heart, dear. The fear is real. The pain is real. But, the situation exists in your head, not in the real world. While one part of your life may be over, it's not the end of the world, your life is not over. How many times have we heard of individuals going to the extremes and even contemplating suicide?

For every problem, there's always a solution. You still have friends and family who care about you. In fact, you now have more time to spend with them. Many times, when you get into an involved romantic relationship, we lose touch with the other people who bring meaning to your life. You now have a chance to reconnect with them (again).

In fact, sharing your loss with them may encourage them to share their break up experiences with you. When you say, "he dumped me," that allows them to be vulnerable about how they've been hurt. You will begin to see that your pain is not unique. You will also be able to see that other people have lived full and complete lives after a break up. In some instances, they get better partner in life.

In addition to having more time for others who you care about, you will have more time to work on the issues in your life. Many times, when you are in a relationship, the activities you care about get pushed aside if your boyfriend isn't interested in them. This is a good time to get re-involved in the things that matter to you.

If no particular activity comes to mind, then maybe you need to get a hobby!

No, really, when you say "he dumped me," what you tell yourself is that you are worthless. When you take up a new activity and invest in yourself, you prove to yourself that you matter.

There are all kinds of activities you can get involved with. The best thing to do is to join a group, class, or workshop. For instance, joining a hiking club will let you meet lots of people who enjoy the great outdoors. A ballroom dancing class will introduce you to people who enjoy the finer things in life. A writer’s workshop will be filled with creative types.

As you begin to re-engage with the world, you will lose the sense of desperation you felt when he dumped you. You will make new friends who share a common interest. You may even meet someone better and special to spend your time with.

The truth is that you will find someone to date again. Your soul mate is out there. Your ex may have done you a favor by breaking up with you because now you have a chance to find someone who fits you better. And, always remember, the best revenge when "he dumped me" is moving on!

These are some of the tips you can use to survive after a heart wrenching broken relationship. Take it slow and know that breaking up is just part and parcel of life. It's a time to start afresh and move forward.

I suggest you read Magic of Making Up to learn more on relationships authored by T.W.Jackson. He has helped thousand others via his book and in it contains wealth of information that would be particular to you.
