You can also check out her photos too and not just the one's posed and added by her, like on other sites, but also those added by her friends, so you get a much more real impression of her.

First impressions are important in all situations, and when it comes to approaching women, it is what separates success from failure.
To give a good first impression, you need to show that you're not a creep, or a social awkward guy who hasn't dated in years (even if it's true!). This should not be difficult.
First of all, make sure you look presentable. Shower before going out, wear nice clothes and do everything to your best. You don't have to be a model to give a good first impression, you just need to show that you take care of yourself and try your best.
Then when you go out, just act casual and not try anything fancy.
When you approach a girl, simple is good. A happy "Hello" and a big smile goes a long way.
